In this article we summarise, <strong>what to look out for now<\/strong>, and <strong>how long existing cash register solutions can legally be used<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<h2>What is e-silence?<\/h2>\n<p>From <strong>e-receipt (electronic receipt)<\/strong> the digital equivalent of a paper spring. The e-ink is only <strong>by e-wallet<\/strong> can be issued in electronically authenticated form.<\/p>\n<p>The e-silence:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>will be automatically transmitted to the NAV system (commonly known as \u201ereceipt register\u201d),<\/li>\n<li>digitally accessible to the customer (for example, via a mobile app),<\/li>\n<li>replaces the paper tray by default, <strong>but paper springs can still be provided at the buyer's request<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Important: traditional online cash register <strong>cannot issue an e-certificate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Who is affected by the introduction of e-night?<\/h2>\n<p>The e-consumption will mainly affect businesses that:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>give a receipt instead of an invoice<\/strong>, and<\/li>\n<li>are typically engaged in retail sales or services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Typical stakeholders:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>retailers,<\/li>\n<li>hairdressers, beauticians,<\/li>\n<li>mechanics, repairers,<\/li>\n<li>other residential service providers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Akik <strong>issue an invoice only<\/strong>, will continue to operate under the rules for online billing and will not be covered by the e-night.<\/p>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<h2>When is e-sleep compulsory?<\/h2>\n<p>This is the point where we encounter the most misunderstandings, so it is important to <strong>make a clear distinction between e-receipts and electronic receipt reporting<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Important distinction<\/h3>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>The e-silence<\/strong> a specific type of document, which <strong>e-wallet only<\/strong> can be issued.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Electronic receipt reporting<\/strong> means that the receipt data is sent electronically to the NAV.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What does the legislation require from 1 September 2026?<\/h3>\n<p>\ud83d\udc49 <strong>From 1 September 2026, the issuance of e-notes will not be mandatory<\/strong>, but that <strong>all your receipts are sent electronically to NAV<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This is the obligation:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>can be completed by e-wallet (in case of e-wallets)<\/strong>, and<\/li>\n<li><strong>can be completed with the current online cash register (OPG)<\/strong>, in the usual way.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Legal certainty for OPG users<\/h3>\n<p>If you are a business:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>currently <strong>online cash register (OPG)<\/strong> uses, and<\/li>\n<li>it <strong>shall be held until 1 July 2028<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>then:<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 <strong>operate legally until 1 July 2028<\/strong>, \u2705 continue <strong>can give paper peace<\/strong>, \u2705 and <strong>not be obliged to issue an e-certificate<\/strong>, as OPG is not technically suitable for this.<\/p>\n<h3>When will e-consumption become truly universal?<\/h3>\n<p>\ud83d\udc49 <strong>After 1 July 2028<\/strong>, when online cash registers will be phased out for good. From that date:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>OPG can no longer be used,<\/li>\n<li>receipt only <strong>by e-wallet<\/strong> can be set up,<\/li>\n<li>which automatically <strong>means e-rest<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p><strong>In summary:<\/strong> From September 2026, it is not the e-receipt that will be mandatory, but the electronic receipt reporting.<br \/>\nIn practice, the e-wave will become inevitable with the phasing out of OPGs in 2028.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<h2>What is an e-wallet?<\/h2>\n<p>From <strong>e-wallet<\/strong> a solution specifically designed for the release of e-cigarettes. It can be:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>hardware-based<\/strong>, or<\/li>\n<li><strong>cloud-based (cloud)<\/strong> system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Both solutions are legally applicable, the choice depends on the business's operations and IT environment.<\/p>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<h2>What will happen to the current online cash register?<\/h2>\n<p>If the company is currently <strong>online cash register (OPG)<\/strong> - for example, a PC-based system with access control - then:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>from 1 July 2025<\/strong> can voluntarily switch to an e-wallet,<\/li>\n<li>the OPG <strong>still temporarily usable<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>en <strong>No longer applicable after 1 July 2028<\/strong> for the activities concerned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is particularly important for those planning for the longer term with existing access control or integrated systems.<\/p>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<h2>How is the data reported to NAV?<\/h2>\n<p>The way in which data is reported to the NAV depends on the type of voucher:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>For an invoice<\/strong>: via online invoicing software<\/li>\n<li><strong>In case of calm (temporarily)<\/strong>: with online cash register (until 1 July 2028)<\/li>\n<li><strong>For e-sunset<\/strong>: by e-wallet<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Short summary<\/h2>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>Who is obliged to?<\/strong> Those who give a receipt instead of an invoice<\/li>\n<li><strong>When is it compulsory?<\/strong> 1 September 2026.<\/li>\n<li><strong>When is it optional?<\/strong> 1 July 2025.<\/li>\n<li><strong>How long can I use the online cash register?<\/strong> Until 1 July 2028<\/li>\n<li><strong>Paper spring to be abolished?<\/strong> No, still available on request<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<h2>A priority for customers using Anteus systems<\/h2>\n<p>Our customers who use the <strong>Anteus TicketControl ticketing and access control system<\/strong>, and the <strong>Anteus ParkControl pay-parking system<\/strong> are used, and the system <strong>integrated online cash register<\/strong> are operated, in practice, by <strong>Anteus A100 with PC-based online cash register<\/strong> they work.<\/p>\n<p>This solution fits in with the TicketControl and ParkControl systems and <strong>Legally applicable until 1 July 2028<\/strong>, in accordance with the requirements for electronic receipt reporting.<\/p>\n<h3>What does this mean in legal terms?<\/h3>\n<p>This is <strong>does not pose a risk<\/strong> for customers using Anteus systems:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>from <strong>Anteus A100 online cash register legally operational until 1 July 2028<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>the system <strong>fully complies with the electronic receipt reporting obligation<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li><strong>no obligation to issue an e-certificate<\/strong> in favour of using OPG,<\/li>\n<li>the customers <strong>operate regularly without interruption<\/strong> with the current solution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In other words: businesses using Anteus TicketControl and ParkControl <strong>do not have to change cash registers or systems now<\/strong>, and <strong>no need to request a quote for an e-wallet solution before 2028<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Why not develop ahead now?<\/h3>\n<p>Regulation on e-vouchers and e-wallets <strong>may be further refined during 2025-2026<\/strong>, technical and legal interpretation details may vary.
